Development of an Evaluation System for Transfer Care Skills Using Embroidered Body Pressure and Proximity Sensor

Objective: It is important to improve caregiving skills help reduce the strain on inexperienced caregivers. Previous studies quantifying have predominantly relied expensive equipment, such as motion-capture systems with multiple infrared cameras or acceleration sensors. To overcome cost and space limitations of existing systems, we developed a simple evaluation system for transfer care that uses capacitive sensors composed conductive embroidery fibers. The proposed can be few thousand US dollars. Method: was used compare seating position velocity recipient during transfers from nursing-care bed wheelchair between groups expert validate system, motion data measured by our obtained conventional three-dimensional force plate. Results: We analyze relationship changes in center pressure (CoP) recorded plate gravity (CoG) system.
